An ambitious and compelling young woman, Anne Boleyn rose to the highest rank in England only to lose her life by failing to give Henry VIII a male heir. Ironically, Anne Boleyn’s daughter became one of Britain’s greatest monarchs, Elizabeth I. Acclaimed soprano, Olga Peretyatko sings the title role, with Maxim Mironov as Lord Percy and Erwin Schrott as Henry VIII. Performed in period costume, ROHM’s sumptuous new coproduction features world-class singers, stage direction by Stefano Mazzonis di Pralafera, and Giampaolo Bisanti conducting the orchestra and chorus of the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège.
A new coproduction by ROHM, Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège, Opéra de Lausanne and Bilbao ABAO-OLBE.
A pre-performance talk (PPT) will take place 1 hour prior to each performance. (For ticket holders only.)
