In an exciting collaboration with The National Museum, the Royal Opera House Muscat presents The Belarus State Academic Choreographic Ensemble Khoroshki. The Belarusian State Honoured Choreographic Ensemble, Khoroshki, is a living legacy for Belarus. Expressive, athletic dance and choral traditions make up the core elements of the show, performed to the accompaniment of classical and modern instruments. Their unique national colour prevails through the use of traditional instruments such as the lyre, whistle, bassel, ocarina, zhaleyki and kmeny; instruments whose rich sounds are kept alive by the ensemble. The ensemble has more than 6000 sets and unique stage costumes resulting in vibrant and dynamic productions showcasing the proud heritage of the Belarussian people.
