6,000 turtles returned to sea in Oman

Muscat: Nearly 6,000 turtles were returned to the sea with the help of the Environment Authority (EA) and locals in south Al Sharqiyah.

EA said: “With the efforts of the Observers of the Environment and Local Community, and with the support of the Scientific Centre in Ras Al Jinz of Omran Company, nearly 6,000 turtles have been returned to the sea.”
