No permit to stay in Daymaniyat Islands: EA

The Environment Authority has decided to stop issuing overnight permits in the natural Daymaniyat Islands to limit the spread of coronavirus.

EA has also prohibited people from staying at the island for two weeks starting from Thursday.

And to not allow people to stay there from today and for a period of two weeks. “We would like to draw your attention that, in line with the decisions issued by the Supreme Committee in charge of examining the mechanism for dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus, including the closure of beaches and parks, starting from February 11, 2021, it has been decided to stop issuing overnight permits in the natural Daymaniyat Islands and not to allow them to stay there from today and for a period of two weeks,” EA said in the statement.
