Over 13,000 passengers used Muscat Airport in May

Muscat: Over 13,000 passengers travelled through Muscat Airport in May 2020, with Indians being the majority.

The number of travellers increased by 122.4 per cent compared to the previous month, according to data issued by the National Centre of Statistics and Information (NCSI). NCSI said: “13,006 is the total number of arrivals and departures at Muscat International Airport in May 2020.”

In May, 65 flights from India arrived at Muscat Airport and 3,083 Indians left the Sultanate. This was followed by 2,433 Pakistani and 827 Bangladeshi passengers.
